Bicycle helmets are not required by law in the United Kingdom. Helmets are. Take it anyway, I walk along the busy streets and in the bottom of a chalk cliff, where large masses of the collapse of chalk on a regular basis.

In Austin, Texas, is now a helmet law, but applies only to minors. Adults should wear a helmet.

There was a helmet law, which was triggered by the motorcycle community (the city not the state - to my knowledge, the laws of most motorcycle helmets are the laws of the city as state law, so a state by state comparison ISN is not very helpful ) a few years ago, without warning, and the community has responded with force and was repealed. the cycling community in Austin is now much more politically active than before, mainly because of an incident.

In fact, the law of Lower Helm does not really apply here. What was before, but something like Lobva showed that 95% of the recipients of tickets were black or Hispanic, and the police have lost their validity.

In any case, $ 25 is cheap. Here, if you is a ticket for running a red light, 217 $. A violation of the seat belt (drive) is 151 $. A violation of the right motorcycle helmet is $ 108 (but do not think there is a current motorcycle helmet law right? Perhaps9; s just for children.) I am not sure what the punishment of a minor violation of the Helms-is right.

And I know nothing about the laws (or even where it is), but the chances are good that a violation did not go helmet to the record or if it does not hurt in any way - it is unlikely that auto - increased insurance, save points on your license or loss of license. Of course, this is a guess, but chances are good that I'm right, and if it is true, then you can simply pay the fine without any problems. But if you're the class that take well. Just ask.

My answer is another question. If not, you put your ticket for no helmet, bicycle or other crimes against your license? For example, if you will a ticket for driving a car and not pay your license suspended. Only occurs when you pay your bicycle related entries? If so, it is not fair. And if it does not affect your license for the ticket, I want my radio to use to decorate like a ray of the card.

In my area, distribute the tickets, in fact, but the law is in place to organize the trip, asking schools, churches and others with the fact that, if they so wish. I support this. I took a trip a few years ago and I insisted on their helmets. It depends on where you live. But when the sale of tickets for people traveling through the walls, in my opinion.
