What is the difference between a 4stroke and a 2stroke moped/scooter? - moped scooter accessories

I wonder, because I needed just a scooter, I'm 16 and I have to know the difference between the two. Also could someone tell me what sort of BHP have a 50cc moped or scooter? And not everyone know whether the pulse of light is a good scooter / moped? Thank you very much help if you know the answer to any of my questions.
